Getting to know

1. Where did you grow up and why aren’t you there now?
I grew up in Atascadero, Ca. Where I currently reside with my wife. After a stint in San Diego, I couldn’t pass up the opportunity to be back on the beautiful Central Coast. 

2. What are you most passionate about professionally?
I am most passionate about building relationships with businesses and then helping a business grow and benefit from working with us, it’s why I’m in the business. 

3. What would be impossible for you to give up?
Golf, I love the mental struggle that each shot presents. It’s also a great way to get outside and work on your patience. 

4. Where can we find you when you’re not working?
The golf course, or at the beach with my wife and two dogs

5. What’s the one problem you are best at solving for your clients?
I have been in business for years, but the Internet environment is changing everything, what should I do? Call me and we can set up a plan to get your business back on track. 

6. Anything else you’d like to tell people about yourself?
Growing up in a family of small business owners, I have seen the frustration that can amount from poor marketing strategies. I take time to address all the issues I have seen in the past and put you on the right track to generate more business.

Shannon points to a recent survey that shows four out of 10 consumers are using online local search every single day. Fifty-seven percent of buyers are using Internet searches as their primary way to find local goods and services, according a recent survey of 3,000 U.S. households by ComScore.

Shannon has spoken to hundreds of business owners and managers. He has been the presenting speaker at several seminars and presentations in Morro BaySan Luis Obispo andSanta Maria.

He collaborates at Access Publishing with Internet marketing specialist Paul Baker, website designer Alex Juchneiwicz, graphic designer Jane Johnson and other writers and interns.

Shannon grew up on the Central Coast and is a graduate of Atascadero High School. He has a Bachelors of Science in Entrepreneurship from San Diego State University and six years sales experience for several well-known companies, including Northwestern Mutual and Enterprise Rent-a-Car. Outside of work, Paul enjoys rock crawling in the Sierras and spending time with his wife, Kenna, a good beer, and his Saint Bernard, Bagheera.
