website design with call to action

A Call to Action, or CTA, is a banner, button, or some type of graphic or text on a website meant to prompt a user to click it and continue down a conversion funnel. It is an essential part of inbound marketing in that it actively strives to convert a user into a lead. Leads can later become a customer.

A CTA can be text such as, “To learn more, contact us today!”, or perhaps as a sale price that encourages people to click through to your products. Every CTA acts as a tool that encourages customers to take the next step in the buyer’s journey. After extensive research by marketers, it turns out people actually want to be told what to do, not guess or figure it out on their own. Following orders simplifies tasks and makes life easier in a sea of endless options. No matter how great your website design, being told to take the next step via your CTA is what can help to seal the deal.

Why You Really Need CTAs

A good Call to Action can enhance your sales leads dramatically. By pointing a potential client to your sales funnel you are greatly enhancing opportunities to convert potential clients into customers. There are a bunch of statistics we could list, like how orange or red buttons get more clicks than other colors, but the main takeaway here is that if you don’t have any CTAs, we would like to help add one to your website. If you’ve got a CTA already, maybe it’s time to revisit and see how we can spiff those up. But either way, be sure you’re not leaving your ready-to-purchase-right-now leads with no direction about where they should go next on your website.

We are here to help your business grow with an effectively designed website. Getting your company ranking online in Google search results is our most important goal for your company, but we also want to get your new website visitors to TAKE ACTION once they make it to your website!
