About the Paso Robles Daily News

New website launched to provide locals daily updates on Paso Robles news from local media and contributors

The Paso Robles Daily News (Paso Robles Daily News on Wikipedia) offers original content and summaries of news from local sources to provide a digest for local readers of latest breaking news in the community, business, events, wine industry, crime, politics, sports and more.

The site will offer original content from staff writers and volunteers, it will publish Paso Robles press releases from local groups and organizations and it will aggregate news from a wide variety of local news sources.

“The goal is to bring together the wide range of Paso Robles news onto one site for the convenience of local readers,” says publisher Scott Brennan, owner of Access Publishing in Paso Robles.

“I’m  big fan of the Paso Robles Press, Paso Robles Magazine, the San Luis Obispo Tribune and other news outlets, but there isn’t one daily source for all the news out there,” Brennan says. “Locals used to have the Paso Robles Daily Press,” but that’s long gone now.

Original articles will come from publications affiliated with the Paso Robles Daily News including North County Access, Central Coast Active magazine, San Luis Obispo County Visitors Guide, and press releases written by Access Publishing.

Press releases are welcome from local clubs, teams, companies and organizations looking to promote their news, events and activities. Submissions are subject to editing.

“I’ve seen a real problem for local organizations trying to get the word out,” Brennan says. “People tell me all them time that they sent a press release to the local media or called them and yet the news never gets out. We want the Paso Robles Daily News to deliver those untold stories to the community.”

“We are accepting and publishing news releases from everyone from small businesses, sports teams and local public relations firms and marketing agencies,” says Brennan.

Snippets of news with links to their original source will be posted from local media including television, radio, magazines and newspapers.
