2017The team at Access Publishing recently welcomed a new advertising executive, Andrew MacDonald. Scott Brennan, CEO of Access Publishing, has brought MacDonald onto the team to help bring new advertising clients to the company.
He will be selling advertising for the Paso Robles Daily News, the A-Town Daily News, the San Luis Obispo County Visitor’s Guide, as well as helping local businesses get found online with Local SEO services.
Born in San Luis Obispo and a resident of Paso Robles for over 28 years, MacDonald is a very involved member of the community. MacDonald has served as the director of membership and sales for the Paso Robles Chamber of Commerce, head of the chamber’s Ambassador Team, and is the current president of the Paso Robles Girls Softball League.
“Andy’s passion for the community is evident the moment you meet him,” says Brennan. “We are happy to have him on our team.”
MacDonald keeps himself busy by volunteering his time as head coach of the PRGSL 10U Bearcat Softball Team, coaching his 10-year-old daughter Rylinn MacDonald. He has been a coach in our community for either football, basketball or softball for almost 15 years. Teamwork, perseverance, integrity and dedication are all attributes thatMacDonald carries throughout both the athletic fields as a coach and while serving our business community. He lives by the simple rule handed down by former great Bearcat Coach Gil Asa, whom the school gym is named for, simply “Be a good Bearcat.”
“I am so excited to still be able to serve our wonderful community of Paso Robles and also expand that scope into all of San Luis Obispo County,” MacDonald says.
“Thank you to the chamber for giving me the opportunity to serve the business community of Paso Robles. I will forever respect, admire and be touched by the work of the staff, ambassador team, board of directors and volunteers. The chamber will always hold a special place in my heart but it is time for me to take the next step professionally while continuing to serve the business community.”
“Serving this community is a true blessing that I do not take lightly. I am excited for the future and all the Pasobilities that lie ahead.”
